Unlock Your Potential

Portrait of leadership coach Sam Rosaldo leaning against a gray brick wall, wearing a black sweater and looking directly at the viewer with an engaging expression.

Many leaders enter their roles with a deep sense of purpose, yet institutional pressures can push them away from their values. My mission is to help leaders reconnect with their authentic leadership so they can serve with clarity, integrity, and confidence.

I trace my perspective on leadership and resilience to the first major milestone of my life. At five years old, I traveled with my family to the rural Philippines, where my parents were engaged in anthropological fieldwork. For a time, we lived within the community that had embraced them as family. It was there that I learned to honor difference, to approach unfamiliar circumstances with respect, and to see connection as a universal language.

That experience was cut short when my mother died in a hiking accident. Her loss has continued to teach me about the necessity of making space for grief and our capacity for resilience. In the years that followed, my father remarried, and our renewed family grew on a foundation of love and understanding for which I remain deeply grateful.

My career has centered on service: teaching in public schools, working in city government, and helping launch initiatives to improve the lives of marginalized students and families. I also co-founded an educational advocacy coalition and a nonprofit youth baseball organization.

Today, I coach leaders with a whole-person approach that honors their strengths, values, and aspirations. I am an Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation, trained through the Teleos Leadership Institute and Upbuild.

I live in Harlem with my wife and two teenage sons and co-host the Radial Bureaucrat podcast, where we explore how to drive positive change from within institutions.
